Job summary

ITW Evercoat in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead the raw materials and purchased complete purchasing functions. You will manage supplier relationships, inventory, and cost controls to meet the annual sales plan, while coordinating with sales, marketing, and supply chain to support MRD and promotional events.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field and 5–7 years of purchasing experience, with ERP/JDE proficiency and strong vendor management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or similar field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant purchasing experience
• Experience with vendor/inventory management and inventory planning
• ERP experience, preferably in JD Edwards (JDE)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage raw material and purchased complete purchasing to support annual sales plan
• Control component inventories to ensure availability and timeliness for production schedules
• Maintain MOH targets and minimize excess/obsolete inventory
• Analyze changes in materials and supply to reduce cost and improve quality
• Confirm supplier delivery dates and expedite orders when necessary
• Support data collection with Regulatory Department
• Monitor expenses, scrap, PPV, and assist with product costing and JD Edwards data
• Negotiate with suppliers to establish competitive contracts and maintain vendor relations
• Own annual sourcing savings projects and coordinate with Corporate Sourcing
