Job summary

Awning & Sign Contractors (ASC) in Angola, Indiana, is seeking a Purchasing Agent who can balance cost, quality and delivery while building strong vendor relationships. You'll research suppliers, compare pricing, negotiate contracts, and keep inventory on track.

You will process POs, approve invoices, maintain Sage records, and support across facilities. The role rewards initiative, attention to detail, and teamwork with sales and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or inventory management.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Comfortable researching options, comparing costs and negotiating.

Responsibilities

• Research suppliers, compare pricing, negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate purchasing needs across facilities and process POs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and keep records up to date.
• Approve invoices and upload receipts within 24 hours of purchase.
• Support sales with material pricing and supplier quotes.
• Analyze material costs and track cost savings.
