Job summary

Arista Air Conditioning, LLC is seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent for our Long Island, NY location. The role focuses on analyzing and executing service parts inventory procurement to support sales plans and inventory goals.

You will use data, analytics, and strong communication with customers and vendors to meet stocking policies. Essential duties include sourcing vendors, negotiating pricing, issuing purchase orders, monitoring orders, and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/procurement operations is required.
• Vendor management and negotiation experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Source vendors and negotiate competitive pricing for products and services.
• Issue, review, and verify purchase orders for accuracy.
• Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
• Address vendor quality control issues and production issues when needed.
• Use time-tracking system (UKG) to manage daily punches and attendance.
• Navigate and update Excel spreadsheets for purchasing and inventory tracking.
