FPL Food LLC in Augusta, GA is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Administrator to support the Supply Manager with daily purchasing, inventory control, and department operations.

The role maintains accurate records, runs reports, collaborates with vendors, and helps optimize purchasing procedures while ensuring smooth plant operations. Strong Excel and ERP experience are essential, along with attention to detail.

Formación

• High school diploma is required; further education in business administration, purchasing, or supply chain is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing, inventory control, supply management, or related administrative operations.
• Experience using computerized purchasing, inventory management, or ERP systems is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Enter, process, track, and maintain purchase orders and inventory records using purchasing and inventory systems.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor information in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and assist with reconciliation.
• Prepare purchasing reports, inventory spreadsheets, and departmental documentation.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, order confirmations, and invoice discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up on delays, shortages, and backorders.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations.
• Assist the Supply Manager in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving procedures.
• Serve as backup in the Supply Manager's absence and help coordinate daily activities.
