Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee replenishment of inventory, optimize category profitability, and drive operational efficiency across assigned items.

You will manage the PO process from inception to delivery, supervise purchasing assistants, ensure price verification, and maintain item requests while upholding BEK standards of professionalism and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Experience in purchasing/manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in management preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to write reports and present information.
• Proficient with MS Office, internet and email.

Responsibilities

• Replenish all assigned inventory items to improve profitability.
• Manage replenishment to balance supply and demand at best price.
• Handle purchasing system management, price verification and item requests.
• Oversee the PO process from inception to delivery.
• Supervise Purchasing Assistants and provide performance feedback.
• Adhere to BEK culture and guidelines.
• Manage purchasing levels per pre-determined guidelines.
