Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to manage daily production requirements, forecast releases to vendors, and ensure timely replenishment of parts to align with the production schedule at the Newberry, SC site.

The role involves tracking shipment ETDs weekly, handling part defects and RMAs, and coordinating BOM changes with engineering to keep inventory moving smoothly. On-site responsibilities require meticulous attention to supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience forecasting production requirements and releasing orders to vendors.
• Ability to track ETD for shipments and manage supplier communications.
• Familiarity with BOM changes and M to M/GI processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage/update daily production requirements and release forecasts to vendors.
• Confirm and track ETD for shipments with suppliers weekly.
• Resolve defective parts and process RMAs with vendors.
• Track shipping containers and coordinate transport daily.
• Monitor BOM changes and GI/pending orders.
• Oversee subcontract orders and vendor confirmations.
• Provide HQ KPI reports and support audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
