Job summary

Samsung Electronics in Auburn Hills, MI, is seeking a Materials Planner to manage inbound/outbound scheduling, production planning, and engineering part changes. You will translate customer demand into a master plan using SAP and ensure accurate, timely material flow to the assembly line.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years of materials planning experience using an ERP / MRP system.
Working Knowledge and Implementation of ERP / MRP system.
Working Knowledge of part change management within a logistics organization.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound scheduling of raw components and finished goods.
Create production schedules using SAP and other systems.
Verify schedules and shipments with suppliers and track materials to the assembly plant.
Communicate ship schedules and quantities to the production floor.
Maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part) and master planning schedule.
Lead coordination meetings to resolve planning and scheduling issues.
