Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America\'s leading HVACR distributor, seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to manage inventory and procurement across multiple locations. You will review forecasts, issue POs, transfer stock between branches, and support sales and branch staff with timing and availability.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in purchasing, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ERP systems, strong communication, and the ability to multitask under deadline pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of related purchasing or procurement experience.
• ERP and inventory systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review procurement requests and issue purchase orders for fulfillment.
• Review forecasts to align inventory with demand and trends.
• Transfer inventory between locations to address overstocks or needs.
• Monitor overdue POs and vendor follow-ups to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide internal customer service to sales and branch staff on availability and lead times.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure inventory supports initiatives.
