Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage inventory and purchasing across multiple branches under the Purchasing Manager. You will review forecasts, issue PO, and support sales and branch staff with timely procurement.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in purchasing, strong Excel/MS 365 skills, and ERP experience. On-site role in Sioux Falls with potential remote/hybrid options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of related purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience with ERP software and inventory systems preferred.
• Strong Excel and MS 365 skills; ability to learn purchasing software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review branch staff procurement requests and issue purchase orders.
• Review forecasts and order inventory to align with demand.
• Transfer inventory between locations to reduce overstocks.
• Support sales and branch personnel with procurement information and lead times.
• Communicate with suppliers on cost, lead times, and order status.
