Randstad Staffing has partnered with a family-owned precision machine shop in Blaine, MN to recruit for a direct-hire Purchasing Coordinator. You will coordinate purchasing, inventory planning, and expediting supplies from vendors to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include issuing purchase orders, reconciling inventory, and maintaining purchasing documentation in an ERP system. Strong English communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong memory and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to follow standards and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience or capability in project management.
• Overtime on Fridays as needed and strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and change notices.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and manage documentation.
• Oversee inventory to maintain supply of materials and components.
• Monitor min/max levels and overall inventory cost.
• Verify material transfer and pricing accuracy in the system.
• Create production planning reports and delivery notices.
• Analyze market conditions for material availability and pricing.
• Perform MRP functions in the ERP system and resolve issues.
