Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning, purchasing, inventory control, or manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Track open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor vendor order status and communicate delivery schedules to internal teams.
• Maintain supplier, inventory, and item data in the ERP system.
• Review purchase orders and reconcile with packing slips, receipts, and invoices.
• Investigate pricing, quantities, damaged materials, freight charges, taxes, and billing issues.
• Coordinate returns, exchanges, warranty claims, and supplier credits.
• Review vendor invoices and submit approved invoices to Accounts Payable.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Receiving to verify deliveries and document shortages or damages.
• Monitor inventory levels to meet production requirements.
• Review daily inventory reports and identify replenishment needs.
• Track production output against inventory and demand.
• Communicate inventory status and supply concerns with Production, Sales, and leadership.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on engineering changes affecting inventory.
• Assist Sales with part availability information.
• Create and maintain consumable supply part records in ERP.
