Job summary

States Manufacturing in the Twin Cities north metro is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support material purchasing, procurement, and ERP data entry. The role emphasizes team collaboration and accurate part setup to keep operations running smoothly. This is a full-time hourly position with typical hours Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., and potential overtime. You will assist the purchasing team with data entry, PO management, and supplier communications to ensure timely orders.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a production and/or engineering purchasing environment.
• Experience with Epicor is preferred but not required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
• Superior problem solving, detail oriented, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently making sound decisions for multiple weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Complete part setup on all new parts to ensure timely ordering by the purchasing team.
• Assist purchasing team with data entry tasks including Part Master Setup in Epicor and price lists.
• Issue and track purchase orders to vendors and follow up as needed.
• Track open vendor purchase orders and communicate with vendors.
