Job summary

SeekWell is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to analyze demand, inventory, supplier performance, and purchasing trends. You will create and manage purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers, collaborate with Lab Operations, and forecast needs to help optimize product availability.

You will work closely with the Purchasing team and strategy group, balancing analytical tasks with day-to-day execution to keep the lab running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of financial, operational, purchasing, freight, or analytical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, submit, and maintain purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers.
• Review demand, inventory, open orders, lead times, and usage trends to determine purchasing requirements.
• Partner with Lab Operations to understand production requirements, material priorities, and upcoming demand.
• Communicate inventory risks, supplier delays, and potential shortages to stakeholders.
• Forecast for manufacturers and collaborate with their sales reps.
• Assist with analytical projects and reporting for Purchasing and Optical Lab and be part of the strategy group.
