Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, or related technical/STEM field PLUS minimum 1 year experience in a Material Planning or Purchasing/Supply Chain Management
• Associate degree PLUS minimum 3 years related experience
• Demonstrated use of SAP in prior roles.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and strong communication skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Releasing purchase requisitions and initiating purchase orders in the system, aligning them with customer requirements and release strategies.
• Monitoring suppliers' order acknowledgements and inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation processes.
• Tracking purchase orders backlog and expending activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Minimizing late backlog by identifying root causes and implementing recovery plans; verifying deliveries and invoices.
• Perform subcontracting tasks with third party suppliers; resolve non-conforming material processing; manage inventory and payments to suppliers.
