Job summary

You will supervise Purchasing Managers, develop supplier relationships, and lead negotiations to achieve best overall landed costs for distribution centers. The role requires directing performance, forecasting finished goods costs, and aligning goals with corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree; Master’s degree a plus.
• 4–6 years of direct and relevant work experience.
• Experience supervising Purchasing Manager(s) or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Purchasing Managers to lead their categories.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity and best costs.
• Maintain continuous supply of competitively priced products and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with DSMs and field teams to optimize distribution and operations.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and execute agreements.
• Set objectives for product categories and monitor performance.
