Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Experience buying motors, transformers, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or metal components.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating with vendors.
• Understanding of inventory planning, material management, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Self-motivated, hands-on professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to travel (about 25% travel in this role).

Responsibilities

• The Purchasing Manager will manage supplier relationships and performance for a variety of manufactured components
• Support production planning through effective inventory and supply management
• Identify and implement cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance, and overall value contribution
• Assist with sourcing strategies, supplier development, and continuity planning
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support operational and business objectives
• Evaluate market conditions and supplier capabilities to ensure competitive sourcing solutions
• Contribute to procurement strategy and cross-functional project initiatives
