Responsibilities

• Develops and implements purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
• Manages vendor relationships and negotiates contracts for favorable terms.
• Oversees procurement process including order placement, tracking and delivery.
• Analyzes inventory to prevent excess and ensure adequate supply.
• Resolves delivery and quality issues with suppliers to keep operations smooth.
• Prepares reports on purchasing activities, costs and performance metrics.
• Collaborates with internal departments to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
• Maintains accurate item data and optimizes inventory management systems.
• Provides training and support to staff involved in purchasing and supply chain activities.
