Job summary

Slip Robotics, based in Norcross, GA, is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to own the daily purchasing cycle and ensure timely parts delivery to production. This onsite role supports MRP-driven PO creation, expedited processing, and proactive shortage management to keep the line running smoothly.

You will coordinate with suppliers, finance, and Receiving to maintain accurate ERP data, test new purchasing workflows during an ERP transition, and generate actionable reports on PO status and spend.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running the full PO cycle in an ERP
• Clear, direct communication with suppliers and internal teams
• Ability to track dozens of open orders and escalate shortages early
• Experience with ERP implementation or system migration

Responsibilities

• PO execution: turn MRP output into on-time POs and track through receipt
• Shortage prevention: maintain weekly runout reports and monitor stock levels
• ECO execution: cancel, reschedule or re-quote POs to limit excess inventory
• Data accuracy: keep item, vendor, lead-time and pricing data current in the ERP
• ERP transition: test purchasing workflows and document actual processes
• Supplier coordination: manage day-to-day supplier contacts and quotes
• Reporting: build simple reports on PO status and spend
• Process simplification: remove steps before automation
