Job summary

DISA Technologies in Mills, WY is hiring a Purchasing Agent to procure materials, components, equipment, and services. You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and accurate inventory management.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in purchasing or procurement, experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and an Associate

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in SCM, business admin or related field.
• 2+ years purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, components, equipment, and services to support production schedules and business operations.
• Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages while minimizing excess inventory.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, warehouse, and accounting teams to align purchasing with operations.
• Resolve purchasing discrepancies, invoice issues, shipping delays, and supplier concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information within the ERP system.
• Assist in obtaining competitive quotes and evaluating suppliers for quality, pricing, and service.
• Support inventory counts, receiving activities, and material reconciliation as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Abide by all policies and procedures established by DISA.
• Attend required safety training courses and assist with tasks as directed.
