Responsibilities

• Reviews requisitions.
• Confers with vendors to obtain price, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Discusses defective goods with inspection, users and vendors to identify source of trouble.
• Expedites delivery of goods to users.
• Creates and distributes backorder reports.
• Manages inventory adjustments and resolves discrepancies.
• Processes backorders for shipment upon receipt.
• Maintains reorder parameter analysis.
• Generates expediting and backorder prevention reports.
• Reviews slow turning inventory and takes action.
• Conducts regular replenishments.
• Performs periodic location verification.
• Reviews automated reorder parameters.
• Handles miscellaneous projects as assigned.
