Job summary

Nationwide Fab. is a leading manufacturer of custom commercial stainless steel food service equipment. This role focuses on purchasing, accounts payable, and cost control to keep operations efficient and records accurate.

The specialist will negotiate with suppliers, research item selections, manage vendor contracts, and ensure pricing is up to date. Strong ERP and accounting software experience is preferred to support monthly closings and reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, supply chain, or related field and/or 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or accounts payable/general accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (SAGE, QuickBooks, NetSuite) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research vendors for competitive pricing and terms, and present to management.
• Monitor stock levels and place purchase orders as needed.
• Process orders for inventory, office, and kitchen supplies and track deliveries.
• Reconcile vendor invoices and assist with month-end close.
• Coordinate with project managers and shop leads on PO needs and reports.
• Assist with year-end audit and maintain commodity records.
