The role involves forecasting needs with plant personnel, tracking lead times, and resolving delivery and pricing issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of purchasing experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and multiple-site purchasing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate purchasing across multiple sites and coordinate with vendors.
• Communicate pricing, availability, and delivery with suppliers.
• Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, and quotes; ensure documentation is complete (terms, import/export).
• Procure materials and services with or without an MRP system.
• Manage delivery, quality, and pricing issues promptly and effectively.
• Track lead times, review open requirements, and expedite orders as needed.
• Provide status updates to Production and other departments.
