The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) seeks an experienced Finance Director to lead the region's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, grants compliance, and audits. This role supports a diverse portfolio of federal, state, and local programs and acts as a key member of the executive team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and municipal financial practices.
• Strong ability to prepare and present detailed fiscal reports to boards and agencies.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal, with stakeholders.
• Experience supervising accounting, payroll, and investments teams.
• Ability to lead financial planning, internal controls, and audits in a multi-government portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of PTRC’s financial operations including budgeting and accounting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, laws, and administrative policies.
• Prepare complex financial reports for the Board of Delegates and funding agencies.
• Supervise development and implementation of accounting systems and procedures.
• Promote teamwork and professional judgment within the Finance Department.
