Job summary

Pinal County is seeking a professional in procurement to obtain goods and services for county departments at the lowest total cost. You will lead complex solicitations, guide staff, and ensure compliance with state, federal, and county rules while balancing timelines and budget constraints.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of purchasing experience, with preference for CPSM/CPPB/CPPO certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Public Administration, or related field.
• Four (4) years of professional purchasing experience.
• Contract administration and/or contract management experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex formal solicitations for goods and services with proper specifications.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure compliance with procurement codes and policies.
• Evaluate requisitions, source selection methods, and contract awards.
• Forecast procurement requirements and advise stakeholders on cost-effective strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure competitive bidding processes.
