Job summary

The MDH Behavioral Health Administration invites applications for a management-level role overseeing administration-wide public awareness initiatives and stakeholder engagement to support mission priorities.

The position leads policy development, staffing, contracts, and project oversight; analyzes data to guide decisions and collaborates with agencies and partners to advance priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; six years of administrative or professional experience, including three years in supervision.
• Master's degree substitutes for one year of general experience; Doctorate substitutes for two years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environment scanning, policy analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement to identify issues and priorities.
• Establish policies/procedures for school-wide public awareness initiatives and goals.
• Serve as liaison between BHA leadership and internal/external stakeholders, including state agencies and officials.
• Oversee personnel, contracts, projects, and budgets; analyze methods for messaging public information.
• Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform executive decisions.
• Hire and supervise staff and develop organizational structure to meet workload.
