Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive leadership across public affairs, policy, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, education, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape public narratives across Commit’s priority education and mobility issues.
• Lead policy communications for education policy and advocacy.
• Advise leadership on messaging, timing, audience strategy, and reputational considerations.
• Develop communications for policy milestones, research releases, and stakeholder materials.
• Build relationships with policymakers, educators, employers, advocates, and communities.
• Navigate high-stakes environments with credibility and sound judgment.
• Lead strategy for major publications and events like the Economic Mobility Report.
