Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating at the intersection of public affairs, strategic communications, public policy, advocacy, and nonprofit leadership.
• Exceptional ability to translate complex data, policy, research, and legislation into clear public narratives.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and public-speaking skills.
• Ability to develop audience-specific communications across formats, including executive messaging and policy communications.

Responsabilités

• Shape and manage public narratives on Commit’s priority education and economic mobility issues.
• Lead communications strategies for education policy and advocacy priorities.
• Advise leadership on messaging, audience strategy, and reputational considerations.
• Develop messaging frameworks, talking points, briefing materials, and other policy communications assets.
