Job summary

Humana is seeking a Provider Contracting Executive to lead and execute physician, hospital, and other provider contracts. You will negotiate terms, communicate payment structures, and analyze financial impacts while maintaining contracts in our system. You may assist with recruiter activities and advise executives on strategic matters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network management experience including hospital contracting and network administration in a healthcare company.
• 2+ years of project leadership experience.
• Extensive provider contracting skills including negotiation, financial analysis and rate proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, negotiates, and executes physician, hospital and other provider contracts.
• Communicates contract terms, payment structures and reimbursement rates to providers.
• Analyzes financial impact of contracts and terms; maintains contracts and documentation in tracking system.
• Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance; may assist with provider recruitment.
