Garney Construction is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Team in Colorado. This full-time role focuses on coordinating proposals, SOQs, interview materials, and client-facing deliverables, while collaborating with leadership and technical teams to create compelling marketing content that supports pursuits and strengthens our brand.

The candidate will lead qualifications and proposals, support capture planning, and prepare marketing materials for potential clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or similar
• Minimum of five years of experience in marketing professional services in the A/E/C industry
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional communication skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ambitious, creative, and a team player
• Excellent judgment, and work accurately and efficiently with minimal guidance
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Active listener with a strong work ethic
• Meet deadlines and have an acute attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead development of qualifications and proposals
• Support the development of capture planning, presentations, or client debriefings
• Prepare and distribute marketing materials for potential clients
• Support Marketing Team with administrative duties
• Support Operations and Business Development with national trade organization events, initiatives, and administrative duties
• Facilitate pursuit kickoff meetings, content development, review cycles, and final submission preparation
• Create tailored project descriptions and staff resumes for use in pursuit materials
