Job summary

Via is a technology-driven transit company seeking a Partnership Proposals Lead in New York. You will craft persuasive proposals for cities, transit agencies, and public transit providers, working with Strategy and executive teams to understand customer needs and Via’s positioning as a tech partner.

You’ll absorb complex specifications, distill information into clear prose, and own long-form proposals from drafting through submission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with a track record of impeccable written communication.
• Experience writing business proposals, policy memos, graduate theses, or journalism is applicable.
• Awards for writing are a plus.
• Data-informed storytelling with quantitative and qualitative metrics is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Partnerships, Expansion, and Finance teams to craft strategies for procurements.
• Absorb complex technical specs and distill into clear prose for diverse audiences.
• Write, review, and copy-edit long-form narrative proposals.
• Research industry trends and synthesize findings into insightful commentary.
• Lead procurements from start to finish, including evaluation, content creation, and submission.

Education

Undergraduate degree (humanities or social sciences)

Advanced degree preferred
