Job summary

TAS Environmental Services is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal & Business Development Coordinator to manage RFPs, RFQs, bids, and prequalification packages. You will coordinate with multiple TAS departments to gather information, ensure accuracy, and meet submission deadlines while maintaining confidentiality of pricing and customer data.

The role supports business development activities, maintains templates and capability statements, and tracks opportunities from initiation to award or loss.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a related role, or an Associate/Bachelor’s in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent proofreading, editing, formatting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related apps.
• Ability to navigate customer procurement and proposal submission portals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFPs, RFQs, bids, proposals, prequalification packages, and customer submissions.
• Review bid documents to identify requirements, deadlines, forms, certifications, and docs.
• Prepare, edit, format, and proofread proposal materials for accuracy and presentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect operational, safety, financial, insurance, workforce, and equipment data.
• Ensure all proposal requirements are completed and submitted by deadlines.
• Submit electronically through customer procurement portals.
• Maintain confidentiality of pricing, customer information, and sensitive data.
• Support business development with new opportunities and existing needs.
• Maintain proposal templates, capability statements, and project references.
• Track active, pending, awarded, and unsuccessful proposals.
• Assist with presentations and customer information packets.
• Maintain current TAS services, locations, capabilities, equipment, and certifications.
• Collaborate across departments to gather required proposal information.
