Job summary

MWH Constructors seeks an experienced Proposal Manager to independently drive proposal process from RFQ/RFP analysis to submission. You will coordinate with Campaign Manager and subject matter experts, drafting compelling content and leading a team of marketing and design professionals.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure timely, accurate submissions, and continuously improve proposal processes and content libraries while aligning with branding and strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 8–10 years leading proposal management and business development in engineering/construction/professional services.
• Proven success managing full proposal lifecycle from capture to submission/interview.
• Advanced skills in MS Office and Adobe Creative tools.
• Ability to manage multiple pursuits with high quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit execution from kickoff through submission.
• Attend industry conferences and engagement events as needed.
• Review RFQ/P documents and develop pursuit production plans with the Campaign Manager.
• Facilitate status meetings and communicate across stakeholders and partners.
• Create compelling written content and graphical elements for submittals.
• Collaborate with BD, preconstruction, and construction staff on project content.
• Lead reviews (e.g., color reviews) and integrate feedback into deliverables.
• Develop imagery to present technical data and project information.
• Edit copy for spelling, grammar, AP style, branding, and readability.
• Mentor junior proposal staff and drive continuous improvement of processes and content libraries.
