Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to work onsite at our corporate office in Broomfield, CO. The role leads pursuit execution from kickoff to submission, develops compelling project content, and coordinates with BD, preconstruction, and field teams to deliver winning submittals.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of proposal leadership experience in AEC, strong writing/editing skills, and advanced MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, Graphic Design, Journalism, English or Fine Arts or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years leading proposal management and business development in AEC or professional services.
• Proven success managing full proposal lifecycle from capture through submission and interview.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro, InDesign and Illustrator for compliant submissions.
• Strong written and oral communication, negotiation, problem solving, presentation, planning and time management.

Responsibilities

• Leads pursuit execution from kickoff through submission.
• Attend industry conferences and engagement events as needed.
• Review RFQP documents, outline requirements, develop pursuit plans and calendars.
• Facilitate status meetings and communicate with stakeholders and partners.
• Create compelling written content and graphics to generate winning submittals.
• Collaborate with BD, preconstruction and construction staff to develop project content.
• Lead reviews and integrate feedback to strengthen deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement of processes and content.
• Ensure branding, formatting, and quality standards are met on all submissions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications or related field
