Job summary

DroneShield Group Pty Ltd in Warrenton, VA, seeks a Proposal Specialist to own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle for US and select international opportunities in defence and security markets. You will write, edit, and coordinate inputs from sales, legal, finance and engineering to deliver compelling, compliant submissions.

You’ll manage gating reviews, schedules, and content development, with a hands-on approach and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in technology proposal development.
• Familiarity with defence/government procurement is required.
• Excellent writing, editing and content structuring skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Commercial Directors to vet opportunities.
• Own full lifecycle of proposal responses from RFP review to submission.
• Lead writing across technical, management and executive sections.
• Coordinate inputs from SMEs, legal, finance and engineering.
• Set up and manage proposal plans, timelines, and review cycles.
• Run internal reviews and incorporate feedback for improvement.
• Build and maintain reusable content libraries and boilerplate.
