Job summary

CAI is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our team. The role supports the development and submission of proposals, coordinating with field operations and business development to deliver compelling responses.

The position requires strategic thinking, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in English, liberal arts, business, engineering, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing and producing proposals.
• Pharmaceutical industry or providing services to pharma is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shift priorities while maintaining attention to detail and high quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leaders, business development and operations to develop responses.
• Review and measure quality of proposals written by others.
• Draft proposals using industry best practices and language suited for proposals.
• Assist with process improvements, including after-action reviews and lessons learned.
• Lead the proposals development from creation to bid submission.
