Job summary

Ameritas seeks a Proposal Coordinator to drive RFP/RFI processes for Ameritas and partner distributions. The role bridges the external sales force and internal ops for dental, vision and hearing quotes, ensuring accurate, compelling bid documentation.

You will use Qvidian to respond to questionnaires, gather data, and develop complete proposals. You will collaborate with teams to maintain unity across submissions, manage multiple proposals, and meet demanding deadlines with strong writing and

Qualifications

• Create narratives and questionnaire responses for proposals
• Excellent reading and writing comprehension and communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving and solutions-based thinking
• Detailed time management and organizational skills
• Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple bids
• Familiar with proposal language and sales operations
• Willingness to learn internal software tools

Responsibilities

• Respond to questionnaires and develop submissions using Qvidian
• Gather and format information for a complete sales proposal
• Collaborate with team to ensure consistency across submissions
• Multi-task to manage several proposals for various distributions
• Ensure timely release of bids and research all aspects for accuracy
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Utilize strong grammar and communication skills in submissions
• Prepare thumb drives or binders for hard copy submissions
• Assist supervision with mentoring and library/database maintenance
• Cross-train with National Account teams as needed
