Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Property Project Cost Manager to oversee cost control for renovations, relocations, and other property projects. You will coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment of scope, budget, and schedule.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, and strong estimating software skills. Travel 25–50% is expected, including occasional overnights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction and/or facilities projects.
• Knowledge and experience with construction standards and practices.
• Proficiency with estimating software.
• Read and understand SDs, DDs, CDs, related to commercial construction and MEPs.
• Travel: 25–50%, including occasional overnights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage early-stage ROM estimates using benchmarks and historical data.
• Prepare and validate detailed cost estimates across major trades using drawings and cost intelligence.
• Ensure projects stay financially viable through forecasting and budget alignment.
• Lead change order evaluation and cost control, including pricing analysis and impact reporting.
• Perform estimate vs. actual cost analysis for senior leadership insights.
• Maintain and enhance cost databases adjusting for market trends and regional variations.
