Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Property Project Cost Manager to oversee property-related projects, including renovations, relocations, and expansions. You will partner with project managers, leadership, and vendors to align scope, budget, and schedule, providing independent cost guidance and risk insight.

Responsibilities include ROM estimates, detailed cost estimation, change-order evaluation, and cost analysis across trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years managing commercial construction and/or facilities projects; multiple concurrent projects.
• Knowledge of construction standards and practices.
• Proficiency with estimating software.
• Ability to read and understand SDs, DDs, CDs, related to commercial construction and MEPs
• Travel: 25-50% including occasional overnights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage early-stage ROM estimates using benchmarks and historical data.
• Prepare and validate detailed cost estimates across major trades from drawings and cost data.
• Ensure projects stay financially viable through forecasting, budgeting, and cost alignment.
• Lead change order evaluation and cost control, including pricing analysis and reporting.
• Perform estimate vs. actual cost analyses for leadership insights.
• Maintain and update cost databases, adjusting for market trends and regional variations.
• Support stakeholder management with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
