Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking an Analytics Director to lead the Strategic Analytics team. This role partners with senior leaders across Gaming, Marketing, VIP, and Hospitality to drive profit through rigorous analyses and actionable insights.

The director will guide technical delivery (SQL, R, Python) and visualization (Tableau, MicroStrategy), oversee reporting, and mentor junior analysts while upholding Caesars' values and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of professional work experience.
• Casino industry business acumen and ability to tailor analyses.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with measurable impact.
• Advanced SQL and proficiency in R, VBA, SAS, Python; experience with Google BigQuery.
• Experience with web-based data visualization tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy).
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities and allocate resources.
• Lead rigorous analyses with actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operations.
• Develop and communicate ideas for initiatives to drive profit and evaluate strategic projects.
• Design and deliver reporting for departments to show trends and drivers.
• Drive modernization using SQL, R, Tableau, Google BigQuery, Python.
• Identify and implement process and reporting automation improvements.
• Lead large cross-Analytics projects and share findings with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and develop technical skills and business acumen.
• Champion integrity and teamwork within the Analytics department.
