Job summary

Collier County seeks a Property Acquisition Specialist II to advance real property projects and support Strategic Projects & Business Operations. You will move transactions from research through negotiation, closing and final documentation, coordinating with owners, staff, and the County Attorney.

Requirements include an Associate degree, three years of related experience, and fingerprinting; Florida driver’s license is required for county vehicle operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.

• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Research properties and evaluate transaction information; review public records and maps.
• Negotiate property transactions on behalf of the County.
• Prepare legal descriptions and documents for conveyances, acquisitions, and leases.
• Coordinate closings and ensure timely completion of transactions.
• Maintain complete property records and assist owners and partners.
