Job summary

The Chief of Staff Association seeks a Director of Strategic Projects based in Independence, Ohio, with four on-site days weekly. You will drive a prioritized portfolio of strategic initiatives, partnering with the VP of IT and operations leader while coordinating with senior owners.

You bring 10+ years of cross‑functional delivery, ERP and systems experience, and a track record of shaping change through strategic execution and practical AI tooling. DOE; base salary $190k–$210k plus 20–25% bonus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional work experience with demonstrated ability to influence across an organization without formal authority.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Hands-on experience delivering technology, product or systems implementations from requirements gathering through testing, rollout and adoption.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple cross-functional projects to on-time completion.
• Strong understanding of integrated business systems such as ERP, e-commerce, warehouse and inventory applications.
• Experience with process mapping, SOP documentation and defining roles and responsibilities across functions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Based in the Greater Cleveland or Akron area and able to work on-site at least four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution across the leadership team's prioritized portfolio of foundational projects, delivering each one on time.
• Lead selected workstreams end-to-end with milestones, owners and deadlines.
• Identify risks and blockers early and unblock them with project owners.
• Partner with the VP of IT and operations leader to complement their teams.
• Gather and document business requirements and map downstream impacts before changes go live.
• Coordinate testing, training and rollout for technology-driven changes.
• Drive adoption and sustain new processes and systems.
• Lead SOP mapping and define clear roles and ownership.
• Find gaps across integrated systems and improve processes.
• Experiment with AI tools to move projects faster.
