Job summary

TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS INC in Columbus, Ohio seeks a strategic Portfolio Program Manager to lead enterprise Agile programs and AI-augmented delivery. You will partner with executive leadership, enterprise architecture, data and AI governance to define AI-enabled delivery capabilities, govern cross-portfolio dependencies, and present executive dashboards.

This contract-to-hire role is hybrid with a Columbus office schedule (Tue/Thu).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience with at least 5 years leading enterprise Agile programs and AI-augmented initiatives.
• Mastery of enterprise Agile and portfolio management platforms such as Azure DevOps with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of strategic portfolio vision and value delivery roadmaps.
• Oversee governance, Agile program delivery, and continuous value realization across projects.
• Create and maintain executive dashboards and AI-enhanced reporting for portfolio health.
• Partner with vendors to negotiate Agile delivery contracts with AI-readiness.
• Architect dependency management strategies using AI-powered tools.
• Coordinate enterprise PI Planning, Kanban, and milestone management with AI platforms.
• Define and monitor portfolio KPIs and AI-based delivery indicators.
• Lead enterprise risk governance using AI-driven scenario modeling.
• Drive continuous improvement and AI trend analysis.
• Establish enterprise Agile governance standards and AI-driven playbooks.
• Manage multi-vendor projects ensuring alignment with goals.

Job description

What You Will Be Doing:

You will serve as a strategic leader within the project management team, overseeing the delivery of complex enterprise programs and portfolios. In this role, you will partner with executive leadership, enterprise architecture, data, and AI governance teams to define and implement AI-enabled project delivery capabilities. You will govern cross-portfolio dependencies, develop strategic dashboards, and communicate program health at the executive level. This is a contract-to-hire position lasting six months with an opportunity to join the organization full-time. While there is a strong preference for local Columbus candidates, those residing in nearby areas who can work a hybrid schedule (reporting to the Columbus office on Tuesdays and Thursdays) will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of strategic portfolio vision, investment themes, and value delivery roadmaps in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee the portfolio-level governance, Agile program delivery, and continuous value realization across all phases of projects.
• Create and maintain executive communications, dashboards, and AI-enhanced reporting to ensure visibility into portfolio health and delivery insights.
• Partner with vendors and strategic partners to negotiate Agile delivery contracts and ensure AI-readiness across the supply chain.
• Architect enterprise dependency management strategies utilizing AI-powered tools to visualize and mitigate risks.
• Orchestrate enterprise PI Planning, Kanban, and milestone management using AI-enhanced Agile platforms.
• Define and monitor portfolio KPIs, value stream metrics, and AI-based predictive delivery indicators.
• Lead enterprise risk governance using AI-driven scenario modeling and predictive analytics.
• Drive organizational learning through continuous improvement cycles and AI-assisted trend analysis.
• Support the establishment of enterprise Agile governance standards, AI-enhanced delivery playbooks, and centers of excellence.
• Manage complex multi-vendor projects with multiple streams, ensuring delivery alignment with strategic business goals.
• Mentor and champion Agile leadership and AI adoption across the project management organization.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience with at least 5 years leading enterprise Agile programs and AI-augmented initiatives.
• Mastery of enterprise Agile and portfolio management platforms such as Azure DevOps, with strategic oversight of associated tools and governance.
• Expert-level proficiency with executive communication platforms, AI analytics suites, and collaboration ecosystems.
• Advanced understanding of enterprise architecture tools, value stream mapping, and AI-powered modeling platforms.
• Strong data and analytics literacy, including governance of AI/ML pipelines and analytics-driven decision making.
• Deep technical expertise in enterprise platforms, AI technologies, cloud ecosystems, and digital transformation solutions.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent strategic, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging C-suite and board members.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence organizational change.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field, with relevant work experience.
• Certifications such as PMP and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) are required. Additional certifications in AI, Lean Portfolio Management, or enterprise Agile are strongly preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience leading enterprise-level Agile transformations using frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or Disciplined Agile.
• Demonstrated experience in agentic AI, AI governance, and prompt engineering strategy.
• Industry experience in digital transformation, enterprise technology investments, or AI platform evaluation.
• Exposure to AI governance frameworks and enterprise AI platform implementation.

Pay:

$49.00 -$70.00 per hour
