Job summary

K&A Power Group in Augusta, Maine, is seeking a Project Support Specialist to join a dynamic, people-focused team driving energy and utility projects. The role offers exposure to challenging, impactful work in the power sector and a collaborative environment.

You will analyze project financials, support purchasing via SAP, and contribute to processing receipts and invoices while developing professional skills in a growing company.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience in a customer service, customer construction support or workflow management role.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and accountability.
• Organization and task prioritization skills.
• Ability to navigate databases and client management programs to process data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of analyst assignments and resolve recurring problems independently.
• Parse data and present in a meaningful format.
• Analyze project financials and budgets.
• Anticipate upcoming responsibilities or needs and use initiative.
• Utilize SAP to prepare purchase requests and purchase orders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors with attention to detail.
• Process receipts, accruals and invoices as part of the purchasing process.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Support Specialist to join our team at K&A Power Group in Augusta Maine. Role Expectations

• Perform a wide range of analyst assignments and resolving recurring problems independently without close supervision
• Parse data and present in a meaningful format
• Analyze project financials and budgets
• Anticipate upcoming responsibilities or needs and use initiative appropriately
• Utilize SAP to Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders
• Troubleshoots and resolves errors or issues with attention to detail
• Processes receipts accruals and invoices as part of the purchasing process

What we’re looking for

• 3 years of related experience in a customer service customer construction support or workflow management role
• Lesser experience in combination with related Associates or Bachelors degree will be considered
• Effective communicator both verbal and written
• Self Motivation and Accountability
• Organization and task prioritization skills
• Ability to develop positive working relationships while enforcing required processes
• Ability to navigate databases and client management programs to process and understand data
• Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook

Pay Range 60000 64000 year
