Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior Project Portfolio Manager at the Petersburg site to build and manage the site’s Project Portfolio Management system. You will be the primary contact for PB Project Portfolio prioritization, coordinate budget and IPG activities, and ensure alignment with site strategy and roadmaps.

Responsibilities include steering group leadership, training, governance standardization, and communication with Investment Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and seven (7) years of experience in Project or Change Management required.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years, may consider an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of nine (9) years experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years, may consider a High School Diploma with a minimum of eleven (11) years experience in Project or Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Project Portfolio Management process and prioritization; drive continuous improvement and alignment with site priorities.
• Provide PPM support for investment budget development in collaboration with Finance and senior staff.
• Standardize site portfolio governance; coordinate monthly steering groups and prepare consistent materials and agendas.
• Lead portfolio communications and act as primary site contact for portfolio coordination with Investment Manager and IPG teams.
• Drive project execution effectiveness; guide project managers and present STG results; address resource constraints and risks.
• Develop and maintain PPM training materials; provide coaching to site personnel and network members.
• Own site portfolio administration in Clarity; oversee project creation, changes, gate approvals, and reporting.
• Lead portfolio resource visibility and performance metrics; develop portfolio-level KPIs to guide actions.
• Develop & maintain metrics to monitor site portfolio health and performance.
• Adhere to safety and environmental requirements; perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Science, Engineering or related field

Associate’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Science, Engineering or related field
