Job summary

New York Road Runners is seeking a Project Management Specialist to support NYRR’s strategic initiatives. You will work with leaders to manage cross‑functional teams, ensuring projects finish on time, within budget, and within scope.

You will report to the Director of Project Management and help develop charters, templates, and best practices while advancing NYRR’s mission to promote health and community through running.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with timeline, scope and budget management and process improvement.
• Strategy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor a wide array of cross‑functional projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams and meetings to stay within scope and budget.
• Develop and track timelines with milestones and risks; report progress to stakeholders.
• Manage communications with internal and external partners.
• Support PM leadership on new and recurring initiatives.
