The role covers large, diverse and complex projects in clinical informatics, physician practice implementations, quality improvement, strategic IT objectives, and related governance. Direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years experience in information technologies, project management, healthcare administration or clinical field. Or equivalent education/experience
• Coursework/Training: Education with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
• Coursework/Training: CAP, Workout and Lean education training required as soon as available or within the first year on the job.
• Experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
• Experience managing projects with multiple project teams, product development life-cycle, or quality life-cycle.
• Experience with PM methodologies and software.
• Experience making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate.
