Job summary

Providence is seeking a Project Manager to lead large, diverse projects in clinical informatics, physician practice implementations, and quality improvement. You will manage all aspects with accountability to the Executive Sponsor, on-site in our Portland/Renton area offices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3 years in IT, PM, or healthcare administration, plus PM methodology training and Lean/ Six Sigma exposure.

The Project Manager is accountable for one or more large, diverse and complex projects in the areas of clinical informatics; physician practice implementations; quality improvement; strategic objectives and goals; information technology projects. Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor.

Required Qualifications:

• + Bachelor's Degree Plus 3 years experience in information technologies, project management, healthcare administration or clinical field. Or equivalent education/experience
• + Coursework/Training: Education with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
• + Coursework/Training: CAP, Workout and Lean education training required as soon as available or within the first year on the job.
• + Experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
• + Experience managing projects with multiple project teams, product development life-cycle, or quality life-cycle.
• + Experience with PM methodologies and software.
• + Experience making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders.
• + Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

• + Upon hire: Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute
• + Experience working with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or LEAN.
