Job summary

TMEIC Corporation in Houston, TX seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead a matrix team through complex electrical and automation projects typical 1–2 year cycles. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary resources, manage client contracts, assess risks, and provide clear project updates to executives and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in similar roles, strong negotiation and financial sense, and a proven track record in client relations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years in project management in electrical/automation systems with large contracts exceeding $1M.
Strong commercial negotiation and financial acumen.
Proven client relations and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including parent company resources and suppliers, for successful execution of projects.
Ensure client contractual commitments per terms and conditions are met.
Recommend and implement risk assessment and abatement plan to meet project budgets and targets.
Serve as single point of contact for clients on assigned projects.
Identify, resolve, and communicate resolution on client issues, escalating unresolved issues.
Collect, analyze, and report business unit data to management.
Provide timely updates on project performance, market trends, and client relationship issues to management.
Produce and maintain records of project communications and contract variations per guidelines.
