Job summary

UL Solutions seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead small to medium initiatives, guiding project teams from planning through delivery and governance adherence. You will manage budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications while aligning deliverables with business outcomes and ROI metrics.

You will partner with business leaders, finance, and change managers to ensure successful execution in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on clarity, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Excellent written and verbal communication with sponsor reporting and escalation experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to anticipate risks and devise timely solutions.
• Focused, versatile team player comfortable with change and ambiguity.
• Understands business goals and IT issues to enable success.
• Understanding of SDLC (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
• In-depth understanding of project management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Managing the implementation of small to medium projects.
• Provides leadership and support to project team members.
• Acts as front-line contact on project activities, issues, and risks.
• Manages project risks and issues and escalates accordingly.
• Interfaces with business leaders and with Finance, developing ROI/IRR metrics.
• Manages stakeholders' communications and escalates as needed.
• Adheres to governance and controls; plans and monitors project progress.
• Oversees project budgeting and financial performance.
• Coordinates projects and interdependencies; manages resources.
• Aligns deliverables to outcomes with business change manager guidance.
• Reads and follows UL Code of Conduct and security practices.
