micro1 is seeking a Strategic Project Lead, Robotics for a remote, full-time position. You will own robotics data pipelines end-to-end, coordinating with engineering, operations and finance to drive high-impact projects.

You will design scalable pipelines, manage sensor systems, and translate client requirements into executable systems while balancing cost, quality, and throughput in a remote-first environment. Equity and strong benefits are included.

Job Title: Strategic Project Lead, Robotics

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote

Your Role: As a Strategic Projects Lead (Robotics), you will own robotics data pipelines end-to-end. You'll manage everything from data capture to final delivery, ensuring high quality, scalability, and efficiency across the entire pipeline. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and finance, and play a key role in driving execution on complex, high-impact projects.

What You'll Do:

• Own robotics data pipelines end-to-end with clear accountability for quality and delivery.
• Design and optimize large-scale data collection and processing pipelines.
• Scale operations by balancing cost, quality, and throughput.
• Deploy and manage hardware systems (multi-camera rigs, RGB/stereo/IMU sensors).
• Lead data transformation pipelines aligned with strict client schemas and formats.
• Identify bottlenecks and build automation for validation, QA, and reporting.
• Define and enforce capture protocols, workflows, and operational standards.
• Translate client requirements into executable systems and processes.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and finance to drive execution.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong experience with robotics or high-throughput data pipelines.
• Hands-on with sensor systems, FPS constraints, and multi-camera setups.
• Analytical and systems-oriented; able to optimize cost vs speed vs quality.
• Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, storage, and delivery systems.
• Proven ability to define schemas, protocols, and operational standards.
• Track record of driving cross-functional execution and improving systems.
• High ownership, fast execution, and comfort in ambiguous environments.

Preferred:

• Experience scaling robotics data operations from pilot to production.
• Built internal tools for data validation, QA, or pipeline automation.
• Experience working directly with clients on technical data requirements.

Compensation & Benefits Notice

Notice The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $120,000 -$160,000. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies.
